Get to know me

I’m a cabinet maker who has been working with wood since my late teens, and over the years I’ve been fortunate to build not just with my hands, but with my heart. I spent many years as a county ranger, where I deepened my love for the outdoors, the turning of the seasons, and the wild places that inspire much of my work today.Woodworking for me is more than a craft—it’s a way of living in rhythm with nature. Alongside exploring folklore, magic, and whimsical creatures, I aim to weave these stories into the pieces I make, so they carry a touch of wonder into everyday life.Another passion close to my heart is working with people who have learning difficulties. From my early years I’ve been drawn to creating inclusive, meaningful projects that bring joy and confidence to others, and this continues to shape how I approach both my craft and my community. Through Wood Dragon Design, I hope to share not just wooden creations, but a little piece of magic, connection, and respect for the natural world.
